About Dante M. Pirouz…
Dante M. Pirouz is an award-winning artist originally from California and now based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Her work has been exhibited at Superfine Art Fair in New York City, The Other Art Fair by Saatchi Art in Chicago and Art Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Pirouz’s work was exhibited at the juried group exhibition “Ultimate Abstract” at the Nadiana Art Gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was an Artist In Residency at the Jen Tough Art Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Dante M. Pirouz has been featured as a Visionary Artist in New Visionary Magazine, Art and Woman Art Book, Studio Visit Art Book, and the Creative Process Book.
Dante M. Pirouz spent over half her life in corporate life - first as a business development executive in Asia and Europe and then as a professor of marketing and entrepreneurship at major institutions such as Wharton Business School at Penn, Ivey Business School at Western University and Broad Business School at Michigan State.
After decades of work as an international executive and business school professor, Dante Pirouz returned to a long time passion, impressionist abstract painting. Influenced by her many years of travel to far flung corners of the world including Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, China, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia and now Mexico. Each of these environments have influenced her current work in color, design and view.
Trained with a PhD in cognitive psychology, Dr. Dante Pirouz has researched the impact of color and aesthetics on cognitive well-being and decision making. Her return to artistic expression is an ode to the natural environment around her and from her travels around the world.
Pirouz is a third generation artist who integrates her training as a researcher to create artwork that motivates, quiets, focuses, and soothes the mind and spirit.
Pirouz began building her business in real estate developing and quickly discovered her love for interior design and construction. What began as a project to create a few large-scale paintings to cover the walls of the properties she was staging blossomed into an art business that began to get the attention of collectors and buyers online. One post turned into a snowball of many more posts and connections with collectors who love her eye for bright color and crisp graphics.
Dante M. Pirouz now works full time in her studio in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in an area known for its thriving artists’ community and beautiful sunsets.
