Dante M. Pirouz Selected for Jen Tough Gallery Artist Residency

– Dante M. Pirouz, a contemporary painter based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, has been selected as a 2025 Artist-in-Residence at the prestigious Jen Tough Gallery Artist Residency Program.

The Jen Tough Gallery residency, known for its commitment to fostering diverse and emerging creative voices, offers selected artists dedicated time and space to deepen their practice in a supportive and inspiring environment. Pirouz was chosen from a competitive pool of applicants from across the country, reflecting both the strength of their artistic vision and the resonance of their work.

“I’m incredibly honored to be selected for this residency,” said Pirouz. “It’s an amazing opportunity to focus intensely on my creative process and to connect with a broader artistic community.”

During the residency, Pirouz will be working on new directions within abstract landscape painting, exploring themes such as connection, alignment and renewal in a desert environment. The work created during the residency may be shared in a culminating exhibition or studio event, continuing the gallery's mission of supporting artists' growth and exposure.

Jen Tough Gallery, founded by curator and gallerist Jen Tough, has gained a national reputation for championing underrepresented and mid-career artists through residencies, online exhibitions, and its innovative Art Boss platform.
