Day 33 of my 100 Day Painting Challenge

For these two, I experimented with the opaqueness of the underpainting. The first one had a thin brown underpainting and the second one had a very think layer of Van Dyck Brown to see if it made a difference. I don’t love when the canvas starts to show through the paint especially when the fabric grid shows through. So I’m thinking that I might go to a much thicker underpainting to prevent that from coming through.
