Day 34 of my 100 Day Painting Challenge

This one was an experiment on building up layers of color and capturing the shape of a billowing cloud that looks realistic. I think there was too much green in the undertones mostly because I was too impatient to wait for the blue sky layer to dry fully. When I get going I really want to power through. It might make sense to start doing backgrounds a few days before to allow them to dry thoroughly. We shall see.
