Day 9 of my 100 Day Challenge

I’m not really happy with how these both turned out for my day 9 of painting. They are both on paper which I have mentioned before is not my favorite and they suffer, IMHO, from the same kind of obvious brush strokes and chaotic color streaks of some of my work from the past few years that I not been a fan of. I am striving to become much more painterly and confident with what I put on the canvas while still trying to remain loose and cavalier with what should magically appear to be a beautiful and striking skycape scene. However, these were a little too garrish in color and a little too symmetrical. But they were an attempt and there are some parts of each that I don’t hate…so that’s good news indeed!
